What I'm interested in, is if you can play the files in Video Studio x9 and Photoshop CC 2019, can you see the wave file output and does it still have the spikes I'm seeing in my programs? I tried playing it in Win Amp, VLC Media Player, and Windows own media players. Also it's very odd I can't play or listen to the file in any of the programs you have said have played it OK on your PC. It would be interesting to see the waveform of the audio as represented in those editors as I can't see that those spikes would be missing. This looks similar but never seen it in the audio portion before it was always white noise between frames that overloaded the old analog circuitry. The only thing I've seen similar in the past to this problem was a copy protection signal that stopped taped analog video from being copied by swamping the original signal with a much stronger one. There is a noise reduction section within MEP that could be used to reduce the offending noise as it can be asked to listen and remove repetitive sounds by taking a 'noise print' of the offending sound. The actual video audio soundtrack level is way below what it should be.

I think it more likely that perhaps maybe other programs can suppress the audio spikes which are clearly visible in the audio file. M Audio Axiom AIR Mini MIDI keyboard Ver William.
